Introduction to Nature Journaling
Do you enjoy being in nature? Do you value attention and focus? Join us for an Introduction to Nature Journaling. I will introduce a journaling practice that uses numbers, pictures, and words to record observations of nature. The practice will magnify gratitude, help make connections and increase your sense of wonder. It’s enjoyable, accessible, and a practice you can take anywhere. Don’t worry if you don’t consider yourself good at drawing. Everyone is welcome and all supplies provided.
About Amy Hewitt:
“I am a retired master teacher from Massachusetts, currently living and teaching in the Four Corners region. I have developed my own nature journaling practice over the last three years, and have taught both children and adults on Martha’s Vineyard, MA and Durango, CO. My recent experience at my residency at Willowtail Springs allowed me to explore my journaling techniques and further refine my class lesson plans.”
