1. Willowtail Springs offers workshops/retreats/residencies for groups and individuals in a variety of disciplines.
2. There are group sessions offered by the day, so that local people can participate without staying overnight at Willowtail Springs. Longer workshops including a stay of several days are also offered. Any class offered at Willowtail Springs is taught by professional teachers who are well established in their field.

Individual artists may rent the Working Studio on the property while they are staying here. Others may take part in the workshops which are offered on site.
Think about 2 week residency with a studio included during the following months! These are available from November 1 - April 30 - for a 20% discount. 4 weeks -6 weeks are 30% discount, from low season rates.

Rent the Working Studio for 2-4 weeks with your residency stay
Tai Chi
Guests can arrange for a Tai Chi lesson or a series of sessions with Lee during a stay with us. A lovely and economical way to do this is with the Rejuvenating Retreats which involve a stay of at least 4 nights at deep discounts of 10%. Some guests have reserved 10 days to two weeks[20% discount] in one of the cabins and are taking one lesson per day with Lee to learn the form. The emphasis is on health and the development of building continual regeneration in the body.
For local students who do not want to combine lessons with a stay at Willowtail Springs, Lee offers group and private lessons at our studio in Mancos. The charge is $50 per hour for private lessons, $25 each for 2 students and $20 per hour each for group classes.

Writing:
Guests often come here to finish novels, short stories, poetry and children’s stories. Some guests have begun a work of music. They do this in the cabin or on the decks. If they come with family, they often rent the “Working Studio” on site for privacy and concentration.
Do not forget to consider the Residency Program to work for a very discounted price, 30%, for a stay of 4-6 weeks during the months of November 1 - April 30!) for stays of 2 weeks during this time.
Corporate Retreats, Personal Growth:
These are most effective with a stay of at least 2-3 nights or more. Groups of 6–12 can meet in the “Working Studio”or the Treehouse Gallery, depending on their needs.
Outside Presenters:
We welcome presenters with their own programs and their own students to utilize the the new studio spaces at Willowtail Springs:
Film Making:
Artists and Film Makers have often stayed to begin or finish a new series or project.

Working Studio Building:
The new Working Studio, is 600 sq ft., lovely for work or meetings. It is open 9 a.m.– 5 p.m. It can hold up to 12 people and is $200 per day depending on the individual or group. The price varies if the participants are already staying at Willowtail Springs.
The Working studio space is a separate building nestled in the gardens next to the Lakehouse that looks out to the lake. It is a perfect retreat for individual creative work, group meetings and workshops, combined with a stay or not. It is a light, airy room with a sink, refrigerator, walls for art work display or other display items. There are work tables which can be used for standing or sitting. The garden areas around the building are perfect for outdoor extension of work and contemplation. It will accommodate up to 12 people depending on the activity. This building can be rented in combination with a stay at Willowtail Springs or not.
Check with Lee about private lessons connected to a stay, since these can be tailored to your needs.
