Relax in the delicious pillow top queen bed facing the lake.
Facing east in the sunroom is a comfy day bed that makes up to a king or two twins.
A small porch with sofa faces West to the herb garden, fruit trees and massive old piñon and junipers.
From the high Southeast facing deck, watch a fleet of grass carp swim and play.
Wide cherry and oak boards from the artist’s home in Michigan grace the floor, moldings and shelves casting a soothing glow in the changing light.
During remodeling, a three-foot beehive was found abandoned and intact on the loft ceiling. Its unique presence is now preserved in an enclosed plexiglass box.
The entryway to the full bathroom, featuring an old-fashioned claw foot tub and hand-held shower, is adorned by a carved wood and stained glass archway. Take a long, deep bath with organic suds and scrubs.
A homey kitchen and outdoor grill invite culinary play, the results of which can be savored in the dining room, the woods overlooking the lake, the deck or on the gorgeous rocks surrounding the cabin.
Bask near the cozy fireplace or in the Colorado sunlight on a luxurious 1940s couch and chair.
