Some people go out to an area attraction almost every day. Others come for two weeks and never leave Willowtail Springs. We have listed many of the most visited and popular sites in the area. Keep in mind that many of your most treasured sites and experiences in the Southwest may be in surprise places not often found on a tour map. We are also happy to give you our own personalized advice on what to see and do, which may not be on the more publicized lists.

Willowtail Springs is located midway between the mountains and the Canyonlands. You can go both directions during a stay.

We have flyers and maps for you in each cabin as an overview with details of the rich choices available to you during your stay in the Southwest.

However, before venturing out, take time to enjoy all the pleasures at Willowtail Springs:
Fishing, boating, bird watching, reading, strolling in garden paths or through the woods and forests, hot tub, mountain sunrises, shooting stars, rainbows, wadding in the streams, watching wildlife or the release of raptors, snowshoes by each cabin, sledding on hills...
